Muzeul Baia: museum tickets and audio guide, run by its own staff

Visitors book a timed slot online and pay at the desk, the audio guide plays offline in two languages, and staff see how full each room is, live. The museum runs all of it from one back office.

What we built

From ticket to zone map, one system

A visitor books a slot and hears the guide offline, while the back office counts every room.

Muzeul Baia in motion: the 11:00 slot is booked on the Romanian site, the ticket QR code and the audio guide open on a phone, then the back office shows the live zone map and the visitor reports chart. Bookings and figures are demo data.

Services

Services behind the museum system

How the museum system is built: website, tickets, app and sensors

One system, from website to sensors
The bilingual website, timed-slot ticketing, the back office and the audio guide app share one codebase and one database.
No double bookings
The last seat in a time slot can only be booked once, online or at the desk.
Privacy built in
Staff actions are recorded, and a GDPR erasure request removes a visitor's data everywhere it appears.
An audio guide that works offline
The app downloads the exhibition content once and updates it safely, so visitors need no signal inside the museum.
Occupancy without identifying anyone
People counters above the doors report passages between rooms. The back office turns them into live occupancy and hourly visitor reports.
