AI workshop: where an agent pays off

An AI workshop for companies: one process, walked through step by step with the people who run it. A written brief follows, with what to automate, what to leave alone and what it would cost.

What happens, in order

Book
A date is set, and a short note on the process arrives beforehand: what comes in, what goes out, who handles it and how often.
Explore
The session walks the process step by step with the person who runs it, sorts each step into rule, model or person, and marks the exceptions.
Decide
The written brief follows. Build with ELASTO, build in-house or take it to another vendor; the brief works for all three.

What the session produces

A short brief for the person who approves the budget.

Process
Invoices keyed into the ERP by two people.

Measured before any build.
Payoff
Hours back, and time from arrival to a matched entry.

AI workshop: common questions

Workshop agenda and the result

The session walks one process step by step with the person who runs it and sorts each step into rule, model or person. The result is a short written brief: the process, the baseline, the metric, where an agent fits and where it does not, and the logic behind the build and run cost.

Processes that make good candidates

Processes that repeat weekly or daily, start from email, files or an API, and have someone who can explain the exceptions. Invoice intake, reconciliation, report assembly and email triage are typical. Poor fits: a one-off analysis or migration, paper-only steps, and decisions that need a licence, such as an audit opinion. The page on business process automation lists more.

Building with ELASTO afterwards

No obligation. The brief is written so an in-house team or another vendor can build from it. If ELASTO builds it, the brief becomes the scope of the first release.

Preparation and who attends

The person who runs the process, and whoever approves the budget if possible. A few sample documents help, with personal data removed. No slides needed.

Confidentiality of shared material

Anything shared in the session is used only for the brief. An NDA can be signed before the session, and sample documents can stay on the client's screen instead of being sent.

One process on the table, one written brief

A short note on the process is enough to schedule it.
